Dementia Respite Education and Mentoring (DREAM) Project
DREAM is a project designed for the aged care workforce, to boost their capability to deliver quality dementia respite care. To ensure that DREAM makes a meaningful impact, we worked to understand the education needs of the workforce prior to developing content. Through consultation with the aged care workforce, focus groups with consumers and dementia experts plus a review of the research literature, five key topics, and many sub-topics, were identified as key learning areas for the workforce.
